Jomila is an Indie-Pop artist with Canadian roots, currently based in Berlin, Germany.
She started writing songs as a teenager and is known for her dreamy, soothing voice and songs of honesty and introspection.
GROW is the first song Jomila is releasing this year: a beautifully vulnerable song that develops a poignant yet encouraging narrative about learning to let ending relationships go, accepting conflicting thoughts/feelings and realizing that you have the chance to spread your roots and grow. These intimate thoughts come along with powerful drums, brilliant strings and dreamy guitar lines that set the tone for her entire EP.
Jomila’s music is inspired by female artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, Elena Tonra and Lucy Rose.
